Brand refresh and ongoing design support for a straight-talking media agency

Brazil Street are a media agency based near Manchester with a refreshingly direct approach to business. No jargon, no buzz words, just honest advice and great results for their clients. They needed a brand refresh that reflected that attitude and gave them a stronger platform to shout about what makes them different.

I first started working with Brazil Street on press advertising for their media clients. The quality of that work led to a conversation about their own brand, and the rebrand brief followed naturally from there.

Brazil Street and No B*** s*** logos

Brazil Street had already been using the phrase no BS in their marketing. What they hadn't done was turn it into a proper brand asset. I could see the potential in it immediately: a secondary brand mark that could sit alongside the main logo, making their point of difference impossible to ignore. Creating something that supported the existing logo rather than overpowering it was key. The result is a mark they can put on everything from presentations to press materials, unapologetically stating what they're about.

The visual language built around the brand has plenty of personality. Graffiti assets, strong typography, dark urban textures and a bold colour palette give the brand real energy while keeping it flexible enough for the team to use independently. PowerPoint templates and Canva assets were developed to make sure the brand rolled out consistently across everything from pitch documents to social posts.

The outcome

A brand that feels as straight-talking as the agency behind it. The No BS mark became a genuine point of difference in their marketing and the brand is live across their website at brazilst.co.uk.

"I can honestly say it’s been a total joy working with you and I’ve really loved your take on things, really refreshing. We’d be lost without you!"
